Mac Game Downloads Civilization

find that I need classic support to run it. Mac OS 9 is not up for legal download and I'm getting a little frustrated. Can I run on OS Civilization if you look at maybe $ 15-30 and check the manufacturer's website to see if they made a patch for the game or not just to be sure
