I downloaded an MP3 from Napster, I can import it, but when I try to add it to the timeline I get error: The time does not exceed 24 hours. I checked the properties of MP3 and duration is a long series of numbers. Is there a workaround for this

Try opening it with Cool Edit Pro (Adobe Audition) and re-save it for the properties not going with the new.
